If memory serves, Oliver Heatwole (no 'h' after the 'w') was the original U.S. importer of Bastari concertinas. Later, the Bastari brand was renamed Stagi.

 

The pics on eBay show a Bastari/Stagi.

 

The Concertina FAQ lists Oliver Heatwole as the author of an English Concertina tutor that was (at the time the FAQ was written) available from the House of Musical Traditions:
