Don Taylor
Has anyone got any advice on using fakebooks/lead sheets with an EC? I have found this interesting article about using fakebooks with Anglo and Duet concertinas: "Faking It" by Roger Digsby but the article describes chording with the left hand and playing melody with the right. Since this is not how the EC is structured I wonder if there is a technique/trick to using fakebooks with an EC. If this has been discussed before then I would appreciate a link back as I could not find anything on the forums. Thx. Don.

Ransom
Well, this ain't comprehensive, but maybe it'll start you thinking: http://www.concertinaconnection.com/arranging.htm At any rate, it's specifically about arranging lead sheets for EC.
