Just for the record though a jig is in 6/8 and is counted in twos - didely didely, a slip jig is in 9/8 and counted in threes - didely didely didely. You don't need to record it if you don't feel like it but do at least have a go at the melnet tune of the month Battle of the Somme to get the 'feel' of it.
