Line Dropping

Recently I had a rare instance of the phone eing cut off while I was browsing in the forums. When I reconnected, the flags indicating the unread posts had all been cleared, and I was unsure which posts I had remaining unread.

 

Is this a known feature and is there a way to restore the position before the line was dropped. I consider this a minor irritation which I can live with, but it would be interesting to know.

I've had similar things happen to me on other boards that use this same software. Basically, when you logged back on it recorded it as a new session, and the flags are for new posts since you were last on (which in your case was just a moment before). Therefore, there are no new posts during that time. As far as I can tell, at that point you just have to figure out about the last time you were on and go by the time stamps on the posts. It's a pain, but there's not much you can do about it that I'm aware of. Luckily, it doesn't happen often.
