Steel Reeds for 20 key C/G Lachenal

I have for sale a set of 40 Lachenal steel reeds taken from a smashed 20 key C/G anglo that is beyond restoration.

 

No rust; tuned to more or less A440, but probably will require a fine tune when fitted to another concertina.

 

These may be of interest to any one with a brass reeded 20 key Lachenal seeking to upgrade to better reeds.

 

The reeds are mounted in the original reedpans and the valves are reasonable, but could probably benefit with replacement.

 

It is possible that the pans would fit straight into the bellows frames of another 20 key Lachenal, but some adjustment may be needed to the reed pan supports and the frame gaskets. Alternatively it may be easier to mount the reeds into your concertina's original pans.

 

Got to be worth A$225/145pounds to some one?????(plus postage worldwide at cost from Australia).
