Gawboy
Hello, I'm just beginning to play my English concertina out in public (occasionally sitting in with a band here and there). I'm wondering if anyone has a used concertina microphone set they're interested in selling? Thanks!
Gill B
I hope you manage to get hold of special microphones; but if not, try a pair of tie-clip mics held on with sellotape. Good luck, Gill
Gawboy
Thanks, that's a good tip! I'll try it if no others show up.
MandolinRefugee
Thanks, that's a good tip! I'll try it if no others show up. I'm sure there must be threads about this already, but out of curiosity, what would a good set up be for microphones? I'm being asked to play in a band with an electric guitar and drum kit, and I'll tell you, I've got no idea whether I'm playing any right notes or not when I'm "practicing" with them... Richard Morse
out of curiosity, what would a good set up be for microphones? Microvox makes a good setup for micing a concertina. -- Rich --
MandolinRefugee
My bad, here's a thread about mics that includes tons of other links to threads (Thanks for the footwork, Jody!) http://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php...p;hl=microphone Sorry, nothing about current used ones, though
JimLucas
...here's a thread about mics that includes tons of other links to threads (Thanks for the footwork, Jody!) http://www.concertina.net/forums/index.php...p;hl=microphone Sorry, nothing about current used ones, though Wouldn't that suggest that people (including those who have posted in those other threads) are generally satisfied with the microphones they're currently using, whatever they may be?
