meltzer
I've got one of them. My first box -- had it since I was 13/14. *wipes away tear*
Stephen Chambers
I am interested in a Hohner Corona II in A/D/G or something like it. Any ideas where I could find such an instrument? It would greatly assist in giving you a helpful answer about them if you gave us a few clues, like what part of the planet you are on, and/or what kind of music you want to use the instrument for. You will find that there is now a much bigger range of accordions of this type available from Hohner in America than there is in Europe, or anywhere else. On melodeon.net? Possibly, but the Hohner Corona II is mostly used in playing Tex-Mex, Conjunto, Norteño & Vallenato music, so the ReyesAccordions.com forum might be more useful, though you'll understand more on it if you have a smattering of Spanish... I sometimes pay a visit myself, "with a different hat on", disguised as "melodeonista". Edited December 20, 2007 by Stephen Chambers
mike averill
Hobgoblin , Crawley have on in 2nd hand http://www.hobgoblin.com/local/shlist.htm#melodeons Always prefered the balanced tuning of the Corona III to the II. Makes a great Ceilidh band box.
