Dana Johnson
Hi all, due to health issues , I am closing the Kensington Concertina books for the time being. I want to complete the substantial number of orders I currently have before accepting new ones I may or may not be able to fill. In the interim, those who are waitiing for instruments may contact me (e-mail preferable ) about any possible changes in estimated delivery time. I will be doing the best I can, but for the time being I would re direct potential new customers to keep an eye out for Chris Ghent coming on line I hope soon with some fine concertinas from down under I haven't heard but one low quality MP3 of Wim Walker's new concertina reeded instruments, but they look great, and hopefully will equal the appearance in sound and playing qualities. Guess we'll all find out pretty soon. You know the other guys. The sooner you get in their ques, the quicker you'll get your instrument. Sincerely, Dana Johnson Kensington Concertinas

Greg Jowaisas
Dana, We've never met but I've seen the joy your instruments bring to their owners and I've read your knowledable posts with great interest and respect. I hope your health problems are only temporary and that you will be able to resume your life's passions in the future. Best wishes, Greg

Well, here are some recordings I've done with my concertina-reeded Wakker anglo. I've posted the links to the group here before. The recording quality is probably higher than the playing quality at least. I especially like the sound of the lower reeds: http://concertina.jeffleff.com/audio/JimGully.mp3 http://concertina.jeffleff.com/audio/LamshawLads64.mp3 http://concertina.jeffleff.com/audio/ghwaltz.mp3 http://concertina.jeffleff.com/audio/UtDEagle.mp3 http://concertina.jeffleff.com/audio/WRWakker64.mp3 Edited May 9, 2007 by Boney
Dana Johnson
Well, here are some recordings I've done with my concertina-reeded Wakker anglo. I've posted the links to the group here before. The recording quality is probably higher than the playing quality at least. I especially like the sound of the lower reeds: Great sounding box. I enjoyed all the tunes, but Loved the video! thanks. I think the playing quality is actually even better than the good recording. Dana
