David, I see that the seller ended the listing early (maybe he got a "good" offer for it?), but that fretwork pattern would be quite normal, at least on the later Excelsiors. They always remind me of the old Horslips record sleeve that featured one, though the image had been "doctored" to make it appear octagonal (the better to hold the LP): Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
