aprelias Posted February 17, 2006 Share Posted February 17, 2006 Concertina - Lachenal Anglo 20. Serial# 23385. Steel reeds. 5 fold bellows. Plays poorly - needs restoration/rebuilding. The good - All reeds are present and not rusty. The valves appear to have been replaced recently. The bad - Some pads will need to be replaced. The bellows have been crudely patched in a couple spots but holds air. The ugly - Both reed pans are leaky and may be slightly warped. Needs new gaskets on both ends. This would be a good home project, but it would probably be too expensive to have it repaired professionally.
