Martin Essery Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Other than colour, is there a difference between a Flynn and a Marion? What does the extra 50 quid get you?
Martin Essery Posted June 19 Author Posted June 19 Apparently the only difference is the Fflyn has plywood ends and the Marion has wooden ends. Otherwise, mechanically similar.
Lakeland Fiddler Posted August 2 Posted August 2 I was told the difference is purely cosmetic, the colour of the ends. 1
Willie murphy Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Had a chance to try both and yes the Marion has wooden ends, there is a slight difference in tone between both boxes, I opted for the Marion.(upgraded froma Kirklees ,huge difference. )
Tiposx Posted November 10 Posted November 10 This should help, follow the link to an earlier review by Dave Elliott of the Marion.
