Other than colour, is there a difference between a Flynn and a Marion? What does the extra 50 quid get you?

Apparently the only difference is the Fflyn has plywood ends and the Marion has wooden ends. Otherwise, mechanically similar.

I was told the difference is purely cosmetic, the colour of the ends.

Had a chance to try both and yes the Marion has wooden ends, there is a slight difference in tone between both boxes, I opted for the Marion.(upgraded froma Kirklees ,huge difference. )

Thanks a mil, I opted for the Sherwood Marion and I am very pleased with it.
