Baritone Concertina

Recommended Posts

My understanding is to make a Baritone C/G Anglo layout you simply take a normal Treble C/G layout and lower everything by one octave.

Bass Anglo is where it gets a little more confusing because a standard G/D isn't usually called a Baritone, but if you lower it by one octave you call it a Bass. You can also (rarely) find Bass C/G Anglos, which are two octaves below a Treble C/G. I've not heard of anyone making a G/D lowered by two octaves; maybe if one of those existed it would be called a Contrabass?
