Chris Droney was an iconic musician of the traditional North Clare style of playing the concertina. This style was honed
by three generations of Droneys who played for house dances and set dances for over 170 years there, and whose descendants
are carrying on that style today.

This book examines the history of this family and Chris Droney, as well as his way of playing the concertina. It also provides a
detailed tutorial with audio files for learners, and detailed, accurate transcriptions of over 130 of his tunes.
