RAc
This Welsh Polka set is a standard in the Ceilidh band I'm mostly involved in. It came to our attention (as have come most of our tunes tunes) through the one and only Dave Ball from the Well-Dressed Band and has been a must perform in our repertoire since. I believe this rendition is a step up in my playing because I had to apply variations to prevent the tune from becoming boring to dancers (I have recently had several opportunities to play ceilidhs and other dance events "in the wild" which I am very grateful for), so there is more going on in terms of dynamics, groove and melodic variations than in most previous recordings (although there's still plenty of room for improvement). As usual, thanks for listening! https://soundcloud.com/rac-13/ymgyrchdon-y-waunlwydthe-cefn-coed-polkaffidl-ffadl Edited February 14, 2020 by RAc
