McBadger
Hi. me again. I am looking for a connie in the UK as I will be there April 9. I would rather not take the beautiful circa mid 1800s Wheatstone 48 key treble English I bought from Greg Jowaisas in 2012 (I think) on the aereoplane. Thanks again Greg for a wonderful instrument and case!! I desire a wooden ended 48 key, must be ready to play and I have a budget of around GBP1000. I have looked but cannot find ... Does anyone know where I could find such an instrument in 2 weeks? Cheers, Dave.
gloscon
Dave I do not think you could do any better than contact Chris Algar at barleycorn@concertina.co.uk. Chris has the largest stock of concertinas in the UK and I am sure from the dozens he has you could easily arrange to reserve one in advance.
