Animaterra Posted September 28, 2004 Posted September 28, 2004 My dear little Marcus didn't sell at the NESI, so I'll offer it here before trying it out in the wide world. It's in excellent condition, model # 157, made in the late 1990's at Marcus Music in Wales. Click to see their web site and a good photo; I'll try to insert my photo here. Mine is a standard 30 key model with wooden ends. I paid $1300 for it and then bought a custom-blocked case for it for another $90. I'd be happy to get my $1300 back- it's definitely worth it. This is a sweet, fine mid-range concertina- perfect for someone who'd like to move up from a Hohner or Stagi. I am blessed with my late beloved's Jeffries, so have no need for a second C/G.
bill_mchale Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 What is the accidental row layout? Wheatstone or Jefferies? -- Bill
Animaterra Posted October 6, 2004 Author Posted October 6, 2004 Wheatstone. I'm now adjusting to the new-to-me Jeffries system!
Animaterra Posted October 21, 2004 Author Posted October 21, 2004 Sold to a CNet member, I'm happy to say!
