nkgibbs
Hello, Are these rather beautiful bellows papers an oddity or reasonably standard? Neil Edited September 26, 2009 by nkgibbs

Greg Dear Greg, The bellows are from a Jones anglo so this makes sense...............were they exclusive to Jones? Thanks, Neil
Greg Jowaisas
Neil, In my experience I have only seen this pattern on Jones. I have an elegant 20b rosewood Jones with that pattern and I am restoring a 26b Rosewood Jones with the same pattern. Jones also used a star pattern like the one that I have come to associate with Lachenal. If memory serves and the examples on the repair bench are representative the Jones with these papers were mahogany ended. Jones also used a "blue" paper that had geometric gold lines in the design. I've seen these on larger (32b+) rosewood, ebony and metal end concertinas. Greg
