  1. Hi y'all! I just recently got a 20-key CG Anglo and I'm looking to start taking lessons. I would love to be able to take in person lessons, but am also more than willing to go online. I'm looking to have lessons maybe 2 to 3 times a month, and am interested in learning on all subjects, from playing the instrument itself to theory and anything in between. I'm located in Gallatin County, Montana US. Please message me if you offer lessons/know where I could look for some. Thanks!
  2. Hello, I'm launching this thread since I found no equivalent on the forum (except for a 2005 thread). I offered a 30-button anglo concertina (diatonic) to my wife, 2 years ago, with the promise that I would find a teacher to give her some lessons. And I have been looking for a teacher for 2 years. It wasn't a huge success, as you might guess. So if you have any friend, acquaintance playing 30-button anglo near Paris (we actually live in Conflans Ste Honorine, North West of Paris) who could give the basis to a beginner, I'd be glad to have his / her contact. Even if you only have a name, I can find the person. ? If you don't feel OK posting someone's name on this public forum, you can also email me or WhatsApp me : maxime.manote@gmail.com +33644081675 Thank you! Maxime

  4. Come join the fun at Cascadia Irish Music Week, August 5-11, 2018, in Olympia, WA. We're thrilled to welcome 2017's TG4 Young Musician of the Year, concertina player Liam O'Brien, to the beautiful Pacific Northwest this summer. Hailing from Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Liam has taught at the Willie Clancy Summer School and travels extensively giving workshops and lessons. About his debut album The Lane, Maurice Lennon said, "His playing here is simply sublime. It is by no means simple, but Liam has been blessed with the rare gift of making it sound as though it is." Visit our website at www.cascadiairish.org to learn more. Hope to see you there!
