  2. Michelle Mulcahy will be teaching concertina this summer at Cascadia Irish Music Week, Aug. 10-16, 2014 on Whidbey Island, Washington. The entire Mulcahy Family will be there, Mick, Louise and Michelle; also Johnny Og Connolly, Randal Bays, John McEvoy, Sean Gavin, John Blake, Tom Lawrence, Laura Flanagan, Miray Campbell, Eileen Sullivan and more. A week of not only classes with these great teachers, but also many sessions, intimate concerts, dancing, lectures, etc. in a beautiful seaside setting. http://www.cascadiairish.org
  3. Co. Clare concertina player Florence Fahy is coming to teach this August at the Cascadia Irish Music Week, Aug. 11-17, 2013. The camp will also offer introductory level concertina classes taught by Tom Lawrence. (A few loaner instruments will be available for students. ) Also teaching at this new event will be Mary Bergin, tinwhistle; Sean Gavin, flute; James Kelly, fiddle; Antoin MacGabhann, fiddle; Randal Bays, fiddle; Johnny Og Connolly, accordion; Daithi Sproule, guitar; et. al. Location is the Camp Casey Conference Center on Washington state's Whidbey Island, a beautiful seaside setting for what promises to be a week of great music and learning.
