  1. Well, in this case I agree, that Anglo will be limiting in keys, and English dependant on accompaniment. So Duet then. I think Concertina blends well with accordion, why shouldn't it? You're looking to spend about $1500 to $2000 on good Crane Duet. What country are you from? I live in Israel so I don't have a real variety with the accordions but there are some stores here. anyway, Concertina cost 1500$-2000$ or it is just the very good ones because i'm going to use them just for self-enjoyment. isn't there a Concertina that costes less then 250$?
  2. How's your Russian? I always thought Cherkess used 1 row diatonic accordion, so the keys are not imperative. What may be more important is to have that wall of sound, only accordion can give. And 1 row is small and portable, easy to play. It was a surprize to find so many Youtube videos with Piano Accordions. I think all concertina typs may be used, if you don't mind compromized volume. What exactly are you going to do with it? Like accompanying singers, dancers, self-enjoyment, playing at parties, performing onstage? I'm not from russia(Cherkess are scattered in many countrys since the war in Caucasus). anyway i'll be just useing it for self-enjoyment but I don't want that I cuoldn't play the songs for other people(like in a wedding or something) just because the sound of the Concertina dosn't match to the sound of the accordion/piano acoordion so can the Concertina and the accordion sound match to each other? I'm just interested about the Concertina because it looks cool. Thanks for the help. p.s:songs can be played by a 1 row diatonic accordion or with a piano acoordion.
  3. I was just wondering what kind of concertina will be the best to play circassian muzic with it. basically there are 3 forms of muzic: 1) 2)fast muzic(called sheshen) 3)slow muzic(called kafe) (of course this are just samples and there are more songs from every kind of music but there form is the same). so can you play this all 3 kindes of muzic on a concertina? and what concertina to use if so? thanks for the help and the trouble, I appreciate it. P.S:soory for the bad english.
