  1. The only thing I have against "Superior" is that it is not a metal action, it is entirely wooden (springs excepted) However, it does look more like -rior based on the exact places where the paper is ripped off. There is a perfect space for an 'r' before i. Does anyone at all have any other Campbells labels from this era?
  2. what I can read on the label is as follows: "lls" (LLS) any suggestions on who that might be referring to? Campbells? I definitely don't think it's "ils" as in Fils, but feel free to prove me wrong... the rest is something along the lines of "treble tenor concertina steel reeds" etc. etc. the instrument itself only has burnt/stamped "in C" and "steel reeds" no serials, no names.
  3. I have a tiny scrap of label on the bottom of its case.... You can see how the sides curve inward, and on the side the holes with tin plates. It's clearly german manufacture with the action inside. (no photos needed for that!) standard gold patterned bellows paper as you can see. I'd still like to know who made it or who sold it. Thanks!
  4. I have an old german concertina (quite old, all wood but as typical - shoddily made) it's actually been repaired (one reed replaced with a brass reed!) but another has since broke. I'm in need of parts I guess. I'd like to fix this one up. I do have another concertina that I play, so this is just for the sake of fixing something so old... I need about 4 buttons (the style with the leather strip glued to the bottom) and more importantly I need some replacement reed slate things. I'm sure someone out there has either some parts hanging around or a very sorry beater they're looking to let go for cheap. prefer to pay via paypal. thanks!
