Eric7777
Hi - I'm Eric from Kansas, USA. I'm going to try to learn to play a little concertina. I ordered a cheap 20-button Chinese one off Ebay just to make sure it's not a waste of time trying to learn. We will see. I like to play rock/blues electric guitar mostly. But that's not a very portable instrument - you needs amps and electricity. The concertina, on the other hand can be played almost anywhere. So I'll begin my concertina journey here, in this forum. Will see where it goes. Eric
michael sam wild
Welcome Eric Just take it little by little ( Eric - or little by little, title of a favourite kid's book when I was young) I reckon it's worth starting cheap then trading up if you get on with it. You can always sell them on eBay. Seeother threads on good tutor books and DVDs etc Yours Mike in Sheffield UK
Rhomylly
Hi Eric! There are a few good players in Kansas City, if you're near there, who might be able to offer some hands-on beginner advice.
