Rob is a composer, producer & one of the country's best players of English concertina. He is known for his work with Leveret, Sam Sweeney's Made In The Great War project, The Full English, Fay Hield & The Hurricane Party, Jon Boden & The Remnant Kings, Kerr Fagan Harbron, Emma Reid, Fieldfare, & The Royal Shakespeare Company. Rob's workshop will explore various elements and techniques with the aim of helping each attendee develop their own personal style of playing. He will cover aspects of technique that will help all players get the most from their instrument, including teaching some little-known tunes and some of the stylistic elements that can make those tunes work, as well as exploring chords and harmony. The workshop is focused on the English system but open to players of all systems.
