Someone about 20 years ago, told me I think outside "the Square". At that time I replied, "I also live outside the Square, and just come back inside it, to work day today."

 After working +50 years, across many engineering and scientific disciplines, I have come to understand my career choice of the moment, ie for a day or week/s or year/s, are more like the linked facets of a Dodecahedron, that I believe I actually now live inside.

I use my accumulated knowledge and skills, to just exit into a "specific type" career, via a different 'face' or 'vertices' of my Dodecahedron.

 In today's world, I believe so many jobs are now defined into very narrow 'Boxes' or 'Square's', that people cannot see the bigger career picture, that can make ones working life enjoyable.

 People get pigeonholed during their early school/work life by Specialising, without realizing all career's work skills are actually intertwined and only differ by their 'unique' jargon.

 I suggest to all looking at their work life.   "Change your Square to a Dodecahedron and see where a new Career path could take you !!"
