Skreech
Does anyone make new end bolts for old concertinas? Mine are all knackered, and I don't really want to modify the plates to a moden thread. Edited August 18, 2009 by Skreech
Alan Day
Andrew Norman made some for me recently. He just needs a sample for length and thread and makes them to suit. Al
Theo
Wim Wakker also makes endbolts, but with modern threads, so you would need to use his nutplates too.
hjcjones
Have you tried David Leese? He may have some old endbolts to match.
Skreech
Thanks all. David Leeses website says he doesn't do full sets, only individual bolts, and I need the full set, there isn't a single one without a stripped thread or mangled head. Don't really want to change to a modern thread, and I'd rather deal with someone in the UK. I'll give Andrew Norman a call.
yankeeclipper
A competent machinist or gunsmith should be able to make a set to match your damaged end bolts. Gunsmiths who work with vintage firearms do this kind of work all the time.
