PeterT Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Recently back home, and listening to the commentary for last few overs of day one of the Test Match (Cricket), in the background I thought that I could hear some of the singing being led by a concertina. Did my ears deceive me? Does any C.net member plead guilty? Hope so!
Scally Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Recently back home, and listening to the commentary for last few overs of day one of the Test Match (Cricket), in the background I thought that I could hear some of the singing being led by a concertina. Did my ears deceive me? Does any C.net member plead guilty? Hope so! I've been listening all day - whilst working - and the singing has been as joyous as you would expect in Wales! I can't say I heard a concertina - would be a good accompaniment to Delilah though. Will be listening tomorrow, Cheers K.

PeterT Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Peter ,NO ,it was the bells I thought that was Tinnitus. Wasn't he one of those Roman senators? A contemporary of Bigus Dickus? I'm not particularly good with Roman history. By the way, I caught some of today's Test Match commentary; the trumpet player was much in evidence!
