During last night's episode of Inspector George Gently (alas, now you have discovered how I spend my Sunday evenings) a character, played by Tim Healy, was seen (and heard) playing a black Anglo concertina in a pub. He was described as playing "Geordie songs". Quite a few shots of the concertina although not many close-ups as Tim Healy was miming along to a sound track.

Quite a week for the televisual concertina, what with this episode and the aforementioned advert

I was going to mention that. I think it might have been a jackie or a rochelle. I kept hoping for a close up.

If it's either, it must be a Rochelle due to the handstraps. They also look too wide to be one of the chinese knock-offs.
