JimLucas
Anyone have one of these? My copy of that booklet includes an April 1955 export price list. My used one didn't have a book :-( I'm not sure, but I don't think the booklet was normally included with instrument purchases. If it had been, I think we'd see a lot more of them. Stephen Chambers
Anyone have one of these? I was given my copy by the late Harry Minting, who had been Wheatstone's Sales Manager. He referred to it as the "Blue Book" catalogue. My copy also has the 1955 date for the aeola, but I think I may have seen (or heard of ?) other copies with different dates. It probably signifies the year of publication. Edited April 6, 2004 by Stephen Chambers
wes williams
You'll find a few of the pages (showing the various models) from one of these handbooks at the ICA site: http://www.concertina.org/docarc.htm This copy was supplied with instrument No. 35574 at purchase, so can be dated fairly accurately. Stephen Chambers
My copy also has the 1955 date for the aeola, but I think I may have seen (or heard of ?) other copies with different dates. It probably signifies the year of publication. This would seem to be confirmed by another copy, that I recently bought on eBay, which has the date 1951 for the aeola.
