Ken_Coles
The folks at the Button Box shop have passed this along: Hello, This is to let you know that Rich's family is planning a celebration of his life for Sunday, April 19, at 1 p.m. at the Sunderland Public Library. We realize that for many of you, travel to western Massachusetts would be impractical, but we hope that all who would like to attend will figure out a way to make it work. The address of the library is 20 School St., Sunderland, MA. You can find directions online at http://www.sunderlandpubliclibrary.org/Abo...irections.shtml Please pass the date along to anyone you think would like to know about it. Weather permitting, it will be an outdoor event. Thanks, and thanks for the many messages of sympathy and appreciation. Amongst the discussion about everyone playing the Three Musketeers at the same time as at the service I wondered if some of those at the service might be able to link a webcam to a webcast so that people around the world could simultaneously play along as those physically present also play? Or maybe someone already suggested.
Patrick King
Hello, this has made me sad. Did Richard Morse die and when? He might have made my concertina or one of his employees or someone. If I lived in U.S.A., I would've travelled to there for the Memorial Service. ( but I live in Australia.) I might say that he must've been a remarkable person, even though I didn't know him personally, and that he will be sadly missed by people on here at concertina.net, and all other people who knew him. Sincere Regards, Patrick P.S. My concertina is a 31-key C/G Morse. I once saw his profile on here, and the concertina he was holding in his profile picture (or was it another person) looked exactly like mine, but it would've been his own. I was going to write him a personal message, but I think I might have been a bit too late.
David Barnert
Hello, this has made me sad. Did Richard Morse die and when? He might have made my concertina or one of his employees or someone. Rich died on March 2, 2009. Read this thread. He designed your concertina, which was built in his shop by his employees.

Thanks David, I thought it would've been like that: Richard Morse designed it and his employees built it. Thanks again, Patrick
