Hi Stephen, That's interesting.... for some years I owned a superb Linota whose serial number put it at 1928. This came to me in high pitch, and seemingly very original condition. But it came to me with the wide buttons, which I always assumed were original to the instrument. This was a brilliant sounding 36 key ebonized-end C/G, and miles above some other prewar Linotas I have seen. Sycamore soundboards. Looked similar if not identical to the one played in this youtube video, and a very similar sound. Lovely music available these days.... I will have to try to get a computer at home someday. PG
