can you be more specific..the place or the music festival?

I could be more specific but I don"t want to make any more enemies lol.

never been to either but I watch the music festival on tv....they hardly ever show any music I like anymore.

There are a thousand artists performing at Glastonbury in any given year.

I guess there would be something suitable for most people.

The Boat Band is rumored to be playing this year, check them out.

It's a nice place. Reminds me of Stroud for some reason.

Now that is close to home. Have you been to the Village Inn, Nailsworth, Thursday evening session?

It,s a concertina fest.

The Boat Band are my "local" band! The great thing about them is you never know whether they'll be playing their trademark cajun stuff or traditional tunes from Cumbria.

Both, if you're lucky. :D

Never been. Unfortunately it's the same night as our Morris side meet.

How many Concertinas do you need to make a fest?

Glastonbury is a town, but down 'yer local we call the other thing 'the Pilton pop festival' or 'Micheal Eavis's do'. Neither are very exciting, and both are set up for fleecing non-locals. Welcome to the West Country m'dears!

Glastonbury is a disappointment in my view. Town is quite grubby and full of new age shops selling books, crystals and dream catcher tat.Lots of boarded up shops (before the credit crunch), and the cream tea wasn't up to muster!

Glastonbury Tor is impressive and worth the walk. Stay in Taunton and just visit Glastonbury for a couple of hours!

I wouldn't go any where near the other thing - too many people.
