There are a thousand artists performing at Glastonbury in any given year. I guess there would be something suitable for most people. The Boat Band is rumored to be playing this year, check them out. wally
Glastonbury or It's a nice place. Reminds me of Stroud for some reason. Now that is close to home. Have you been to the Village Inn, Nailsworth, Thursday evening session? It,s a concertina fest.
Dave Rogers
The Boat Band is rumored to be playing this year, check them out. The Boat Band are my "local" band! The great thing about them is you never know whether they'll be playing their trademark cajun stuff or traditional tunes from Cumbria. Both, if you're lucky. How many Concertinas do you need to make a fest?

wes williams
Glastonbury or can you be more specific..the place or the music festival? Glastonbury is a town, but down 'yer local we call the other thing 'the Pilton pop festival' or 'Micheal Eavis's do'. Neither are very exciting, and both are set up for fleecing non-locals. Welcome to the West Country m'dears!
Peter Brook
Glastonbury is a disappointment in my view. Town is quite grubby and full of new age shops selling books, crystals and dream catcher tat.Lots of boarded up shops (before the credit crunch), and the cream tea wasn't up to muster! Glastonbury Tor is impressive and worth the walk. Stay in Taunton and just visit Glastonbury for a couple of hours! I wouldn't go any where near the other thing - too many people.
