Lawrence Reeves Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 These two musicians truly play off of each other's energy. I love the East Clare sound, specially if involving a fiddle. Mny of the selections played on these clip would have been on the recording of Peadar O'Loughlin, Paddy Canny, aP.J Hayes, and Brid Lafferty from the early 60's 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBNBAu6pbUs 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hl2F8IZlwhc...feature=related 3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujt_R8hcsB0...feature=related 4) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSUzhNJLaB0...feature=related 5) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9B4Sj6cYntk...feature=related 6) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTm6JNu6IgY...feature=related 7) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2URABPyigdA...feature=related

Azalin Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I'm in! Claire is one of my concertina heros... and she agrees on giving me private lessons when I'm around Ennis or Galway. Those lessons were totally wasted on me, though, let's hope I will be smarter next time.

Guest Peter Laban Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 (edited) Maybe bring this up to mention Clare Keville will be launching a CD of her own 'The Daisy Field' during the Tulla festival in a couple of weeks. Sept. 10th to be precise. The things you hear in the street during the shopping. And Andrea Corr will get married in the local church on Saturday and Bono will sing during the Mass. So there.
