Roger Digby Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 This excellent annual event, organised by the East Anglian Traditional Music Trust, usually escapes the notice of this site because it is not clear from the title that it is also for concertina players. This year's tutors include John Kirkpatrick and Rob Harbron and there are still places available on their concertina-based workshops. Details of these workshops and all other aspects of the day are available at http://www.eatmt.org.uk/news.htm CAMRA bar too - but I'm driving. Best wishes Roger

PeterT Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Shall have to look out for a Sarah. Easy to spot ...... she'll be the one without concertina, unless she amends checklist.
Steve_freereeder Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I'll be there, but doigg Melodeon stuff. Shall have to look out for a Sarah. Which workshops are you doing, Chas? Are you on my Norfolk dulcimer tunes for melodeon workshop by any chance?
LDT Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Shall have to look out for a Sarah. You'll probably identify me from my patchwork concertina bag. Shall have to look out for a Sarah. Easy to spot ...... she'll be the one without concertina, unless she amends checklist. amended

LDT Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Had a great time (more detailed review later.) Here are some pictures from the day and concert and some videos from the day http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=F5FA9154BE3AE95C
Gerry Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 As always, a great day. But me thinks you had a stooge in the audience, the pic of JK holding up the troublesome wallpaper was taken from where you weren't!

It was a bit like a laurel and hardy sketch with the wallpaper falling down and the most inopportune moments. lol! Edited March 30, 2009 by LDT
