This seems to be the maker’s concertina-focused site: http://www.concertinagk.com

Thanks, Ethan and Taka - I hadn't known about this one.  Looks like the maker's name may be Kevin Garnier.  I will add him to the list.

I just noticed that Hobgoblin lists 3 Sherwood models on their website.

https://hobgoblin.com/sherwood-black-end-30-key-c-g-anglo-concertina

https://hobgoblin.com/sherwood-metal-end-30-key-c-g-anglo-concertina

However, I believe that these are different from the Sherwood that once existed. They are cheaper than the Sherwood that once existed.

It sounds like they've got three different samples from a manufacturer, and that they are only for evaluation at the moment - that's how these things are usually done...

There are photos of the beech wood one on the Hobgoblin Music (Brighton) Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/hobgoblinmusicbrighton/posts/4800691606667243

And there's a YouTube video of it:

Thanks, Stephen!  The text description on the YouTube video confirms what you said: "One of the new concertinas we’re testing out in the shop."  I will hold off on adding these to the list until we see whether Hobgoblin winds up with more than one of each to sell.

Just a small update for those that may be interested.

Last month, I had contact with a South African concertina luthier, Gys Mans.

He told me that he had actually stopped production due to the current COVID19 pandemic.

He says he may restart later this year when things are settled, but who knows?

I have been in his waiting list for two years and a half.

Another update. Gys Mans of South Africa has not restarted his concertina construction yet. I hope he will be back some time.
