Howdy:

Just noticed on Ebay this lovely item which y'all might have interest in seeing.

I'm sure it would be a good deal for someone in need of a few spare reeds.

Otherwise it looks like someone used it to play Frisbee at one point with sad results!

Wow it looks like a real bargain, less than 2 pounds per rustless reed.

And in addition you can win a bonus of leather residuals (quote `some leathers also`)...

I have a suspicion that the rust free reeds may be nickel silver, rather than steel. The photo is not clear enough for any degree of certainly, but it would be surprising for steel reeds to come through a century or so completely free of rust, while the reedpans have clearly had such a hard time.

 

BTW I'm in need of a right hand reedpan for a Wheatstone 48 key model 22, reeds would be good too.
