Search Function Still Flawed

I'm dismayed to find that the search function of this board still does not work properly. When Paul mentioned an upgrade on March 10, I was hoping that search would be fixed. Alas, apparently not.

 

I wanted to send someone some of the things written here about the 'Jackie' English concertina, so I pulled up the search page and entered

 

+Jackie +English

 

because that's supposed to find posts with both words. I selected I got a null search result.

 

Searching instead on

 

Jackie

 

brings up 68 hits. Several on the first page of results include the word 'English.'

 

Paul wrote that the board software developers are testing a major new (2.0) version with spiffy added features. I'm wondering if they'll finally get the old features right.
