Ptarmigan Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 (edited) I just came across two Bb/F sound files on this page. http://homepage.eircom.net/~shields/ I wondered where I might hear more on the Bb/F? Ta I always, always enjoy tuning my Fiddle down to play with Flat Uilleann Pipes & I remember playing in a 'C' session at Derrygonnelly one year for 12 hours. It was a truly magical experience, with flat Pipes, C Flute, 3 Fiddles tuned down & Guitar. It was a real honour & privilege for me to have been part of that session. Concert D sounds so harsh, after playing in C, don't you think? As for playing up in Eb, it just sounds so thin, I feel like my ears are going to start bleeding! Regards, Peter.

You certainly have posted a lot of videos there & I suspect it'd take me a good while to work out where all the Bb ones were! Cheers Dick
