Hi, all

I haven't posted here for a while; I've been in seclusion in my Fortress of Solitude at the North Pole for the summer.

But school has started, and I'm looking for a very inexpensive 30-b Anglo to take in to play for the kids during duty times.

This should be playable, but not so precious that if some maladjusted character mangles it, I won't commit homicide on the spot ( Middle School is Hell).

Ideally an old Stagi or Bastari or something of that ilk would be great.

I'd spend up to a couple of hundred bucks for the right box. So if you have got such an instrument and are willing to part with it, I'd be delighted to hear from you.

Thanks for looking.

Squeeze on.

Robert,

I have two 30-button anglos, in my collection, I'd be willing to part with!

One is a metal-ended Bastari, bought used about 3 years ago. The other is a wooden-ended Stagi, I bought brand new, seven years ago. (Actually the very first anglo I ever owned.) Both are in the key of C/G, play well, have light actions and come with a soft case. I'm asking $400, for either, plus actual shipping cost.

Two other forum members have bought concertinas from me (Panopticon and Mandolin Refugee) and you can ask them about my reliability. Cordially, KerryF

While I was fortunate enough to take someone on the forum up on their generous offer of a Button-Box-derived Stagi for only a couple of hundred, timing is everything of course and those opportunities aren't available every day.

Meanwhile, the BB curently lists a used Rochelle for $295.

Thanks to all for the swift responses. I did get two very good offers, from John Sylte and Daniel Hersh; but, like the lo-tech Neo-luddite that i am, I've managed to lose them. <_<

Gentlemen, please feel free to contact me at: bothyboy1@yahoo.com and we'll work something out.

Thanks again

Robert
