Is there anyone on this forum going to Shrewsbury Folk Festival Aug 22\25

if so let me know and we can have a pint or two?

I will be there Friday,Saturday & Sunday as start to my U.K. visit

I am not sure if there will be any anglo players on the line up?

I heard complaints on Radio Derby, that you didn't have to go to Shrewsbury as the soundmen had some acts that loud you could hear them in the next county.

I know that the Bella Hardy Trio includes Chris Sherburn who plays the Anglo concertina other than that all I know is that its a great line up. This is the first time me, hubby and our friend have been to the Shrewsbury Folk Festival so we have no idea of the set up but I am sure it will be great. Can't wait to see Richard Thompson as we missed him when he canclled a concert last year. Hope you have a great time in the UK.
