Paul Read
Sold! Congratulations to the C.net member who bought it! Off to Canada I see! I suspect it's an A/E or Ab/Eb but it looks nice. I'll let you know. Thanks for the heads-up guys. Well my new baby arrived last night and it's a beauty! It is a C/G. Preliminary checks indicate it is essentially in A=440 which is good news. There is an end bolt missing (sheared bolt) and a few don't tighten (worn threads) so that needs to be addressed before I can properly assess it, but even with the leaks and wheezes the reeds seem responsive. I think a major overhaul is now called for. I'll post again when the work has progressed. Edited June 19, 2008 by Paul Read
