allan atlas Posted May 4, 2008 Posted May 4, 2008 (edited) FOLKS: for those within striking distance of Bridgewater, CT, which, is, i believe, just a few miles north of Danbury, CT: note that the New York Victorian Consort is giving a concert at PROMISEK (in Waterbridge) on Sunday, June 1st, at 3:00 P.M. (the concert should run just over one hour without an intermission). . . . .i know there's an admission fee, though i don't know just what it is. . . . . the group is based at the CUNY Graduate Center and consists of a pianist, a mezzo-soprano, and your's truly (period concertinas only). . . . . for further information, see www.promisek.org ................ if anyone would like to see the program, please email me at aatlas@gc.cuny.edu . . . . i'll send it as an attachment................ Here's a link to the page listing the concert. And this page tells where they are. It doesn't mention an admission fee, though it does give a price for the (unrelated) "workshops" listed lower on the page.
