I'm a little late in posting this, but I've placed a class photo and short description of the 2008 Friday Harbor Irish Music Camp at this link. The camp was held March 3rd through 9th on San Juan Island off the coast of Washington state.

Hello, Bruce! It was a great school, and I very much enjoyed meeting yourself and all the other squeezers in the class. Practicing in the laundry room was a brilliant idea! I hope to make it again next year...All the way from Florida!

Good on you Bruce and hello to John and Patrick. What a great class. I walked in with the sheet music crutch and walked out without it! A huge step forward for me. Definately hope to attend next years camp.

I'd hoped to get the link set up directly after class, but between work, travel and procrastination that didn't happen.

 

It was a good week at Friday Harbor with a great mix of people. Glad to hear my recommendation worked out for you Patrick, I discovered a few years back that the laundry was warm, dry and usually unoccupied (although the acoustics are a bit "bright"). If so inclined, one can go there at 3 AM and play their heart out without disturbing anyone else at the camp.

 

I hope to see you all again next year.
