Watermarking Ads On Ebay

I was wondering if anyone had considered watermarking their photos with the date range of their ads on Ebay. Any feedback on this? I think it would deter someone else from reusing the photos, particularly if the info was displayed in such a way that it couldn't be cropped out. Mike

I'd decided in a similar way in future to embed my eBay name in pictures in my auctions for the same reasons. The date as well would be even better. Thanks for the idea.

PS Actually I'm close to giving up selling stuff on eBay due to the combination of increased fees and the ability to leave negative feedback for bad buyers being removed.

Thank you all for the feedback. Although the concept has been around for a long, long time, I thought that superimposing an expiration date would be worth a try. I've experimented with the "paint" program that came with my computer, and it's fairly easy to do. Mike
