david_boveri Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 my pads tend to fall off a lot. especially when i need to use them. a friend of mine just let me borrow her glue dots, which are little tiny dots of sticky stuff, to put one of my pads back on. she has the removable ones, but i think the permanent ones might be even better! so far, the fix is staying. i like it because i dont have to wait for the glue to dry. http://www.gluedots.com/display/router.aspx?docid=297
Pete Dunk Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Oooo! Sally uses those when she's card making, must remember to filch a pack and pop them in the 'tina case.
Chris Timson Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 (edited) If you cut a little saddle of leather and stick it over the top of the lever it will hopefully stop loose pads in their tracks. On Colin Dipper's advice I keep a tube of superglue in my repair kit, not had to use it since I put the reinforcement on, but it's there just in case. Chris Edited February 27, 2008 by Chris Timson
