Well, I received a telephone call, on Monday morning, to say that a session would be happening at the Two Brewers, Selhurst (South London) on Tuesday evening. Not quite "panic stations" since I knew exactly where my concertina was. However, a good excuse to practice a few tunes before I went. Added incentive; a new Anglo player in the area; Russell from Oxfordshire - a good player, as it turned out.

Here's myself playing the Rochdale Coconut tune:

Here's Russell playing a Playford tune:

Later on, I was bribed to sing a particular song. Fortunately, this performance was not recorded (although it was equally good).

Well done Peter. So, Russel managed to err, rustle up some good tunes then?

Err, by playing an Anglo instead of an English.
