PeterT Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Well, I received a telephone call, on Monday morning, to say that a session would be happening at the Two Brewers, Selhurst (South London) on Tuesday evening. Not quite "panic stations" since I knew exactly where my concertina was. However, a good excuse to practice a few tunes before I went. Added incentive; a new Anglo player in the area; Russell from Oxfordshire - a good player, as it turned out. Here's myself playing the Rochdale Coconut tune: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Tfirmadsxug Here's Russell playing a Playford tune: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fDDhjdbCZ_U Later on, I was bribed to sing a particular song. Fortunately, this performance was not recorded (although it was equally good). Peter.
Chris Drinkwater Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Well done Peter. So, Russel managed to err, rustle up some good tunes then? Chris
John Wild Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Well done Peter. So, Russel managed to err, rustle up some good tunes then? Chris If he did manage to rustle up some good tunes, in what way did he err??
