juhu Posted January 1, 2008 Posted January 1, 2008 (edited) Hi, well i thought I would just put the feelers out and see if there was any interest in this. I have a Jeffries 26 key anglo, bone buttons, in C/G . It is fully restored ,with new [at the time] 6 fold bellows. I think probably about 2 years ago, but i'm guessing. It plays excellently , and is very loud and bright. It is stamped "Jeffries maker" on one end. I haven't owned this for very long, but have now got my hands on a 30 key , so the poor old 26 key sits on the shelf. I bought the concertina thru Rees Wesson , and it has come thru the hands of BARLEYCORN'S , with his stickers inside the instrument. It has a modern hard case. Asking price - £3000 , Obviously buyer would have to pay postage and ins , but collection would be more than welcome [south east UK] and save buyer £££. Here's a sound file, but don't let my playing put you off. Any questions, fire away. THE CONCERTINA IS NOW SOLD. shepherds_hay.mp3 Jeffries_CG.mp3 Edited January 31, 2008 by juhu

latham Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 Like you I am looking for a 30 key but as I am not that proficient, the missing keys may not be such a problem. you say you are in the south East which could be very convenient. Maybe I could ring you?
juhu Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 Just added an extra soundfile of the Jeffries, a bit better than the other one [i hope anyway] Cheers.
