Danielle Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Hi everyone. I'm a beginner and I was just about to purchase Wim Wakker's Rochelle concertina when I read about the upcoming Clover model. Do any of you know when the Clover is expected to debut? I'm eager to begin learning, but I'll postpone my purchase if the wait is not excruciatingly long. Thanks.

(That is, if he doesn't answer you here, first.)
Danielle Posted December 7, 2007 Author Posted December 7, 2007 Yes, you're right. I should have contacted him first. Why not contact Wim and ask him? (That is, if he doesn't answer you here, first.)[/indent]

If you do get in touch with Wim about this could you let us all know what his response is please?
David Levine Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Owner of the Concertina Connection, Wim Wakker, is also the designer and owner of the successful Jackie, Jack and Rochelle entry level concertinas, as well as the new Clover anglo, a high end hybrid anglo. The `Wakker` concertinas are exclusive hand made traditional concertinas (with ´real´ concertina reeds) made by Wim and Karen Wakker. http://www.concertina.net/sponsors.html
Danielle Posted December 9, 2007 Author Posted December 9, 2007 I just heard back from Wim. He estimated that the Clover would be available within the next 3-4 months. He also mentioned that it would be a part of the trade in program ... meaning, I could buy a Rochelle now and trade it in for a Clover later.

Woody Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 Hi everyone. Thanks. On one of my customary wanderings past the Concertina Connection site I noticed that under the Concertinas section there is now an entry for the upcoming Clover Anglo. The page itself only has an "Under Construction" entry but it looks like it's getting closer.
