Frank Edgley Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I'm pleased to say that my concertina instructional DVD is ready & can be shipped in time for Christmas from the Buttonbox, Elderly Instruments or myself.
Warren Fahey Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 I'm pleased to say that my concertina instructional DVD is ready & can be shipped in time for Christmas from the Buttonbox, Elderly Instruments or myself. and that would be for an english or anglo and what is on it please?
toshea Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Let me present a wild guess on that one. The DVD would be for anglo and played using concertinas constructed by Frank Eddgely himself!
asdormire Posted December 6, 2007 Posted December 6, 2007 Frank's a gentleman, I am sure that his instructional video could be used with any anglo concertina. He is also a good player and a good instructor. I learned a lot from the little time a spent with him a year ago last fall. Alan

Alan But the wildest guess comes from me: DVD will explore the ways to play Irish tunes in the key of... mm.. D, mostly in single melody line with gradual introduction to embellishements, and an insertion of chord or two.

Frank's instructinal CDs and books have been very helpful for the basics and beyond. His DVD should be a benchmark!
