Lawrence Reeves Posted December 4, 2007 Posted December 4, 2007 Patsy's O'Grady's( Kilmaley) on the kitchen session. Brilliant, so nice to hear so many fine Clare players and dancers. Ciarán Browne is a West Clare style dancer that I have had the pleasure to see in Kilrush during the Eigse Mrs Crotty. Dympna playeing as solidly as always.
ceemonster Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 ha, i just re-listened to the kilmaley one last night, for about the fifth time. i like them all, but the kilmaley installment is my favorite. i am a fan of patsy lewis as well as of dympna o'sullivan....lovely stuff on there, also from a young player named ?lorraine? obrien?, and of course some from edel fox.....i guess i'd better learn how to copy stuff to cds or get someone to help me with this before these disappear....
Michael Reid Posted December 5, 2007 Posted December 5, 2007 ....lovely stuff on there, also from a young player named ?lorraine? obrien?, Yes, Lorraine O'Brien would be correct, she's a concertina player who was hosting a session in Grogan's in Ennis one night when I was there this summer.
Lawrence Reeves Posted December 5, 2007 Author Posted December 5, 2007 I save the download to my computer, open in itunes, name it add cover art, import to my playlist named "kitchen sessions 2007" copy into garage band( you can use audacity on a pc) Make track marks, reimport to itunes with tracks. Burn to cd, or keep in ipod. I also save the entire show to hear the dialog. I used to do this to Geantraí on TG4 but they have changed the file type to disallow recording it ( at least at present).
