Why

hi all

after meeting geoff crabb at bradfield this year,having a long talk(as geoff would)then looking at the crabb firm photos over the years.

I have this thought when we talk of button layouts(anglo) its wheatstone or jeffries why is this .Jeffries was selling crabb concertinas I understand befor he started to make his own therefor the button layout must have been crabbs layout.

should we start using the terms wheatstone or crabb?what do you all think.

Others are better on the history than I, but I would be loath to attempt to change terms that are at least well and widely understood.
